Lover of the Little things
How kind of you to visit my 'about' section to learn more about me. I was born in Upstate New York, The Hudson Valley, where I spent many days outside with friends and learning to play and record music with long time best friend Dante DeFelice. I had many great teachers in school and supportive parents who wanted me to do great things with the little money that we had, and I wanted that as well. After playing in Goodnight Brother with Dante, and after graduating High School, attending college for Audio Engineering felt right to me for some reason.
I attended Lebanon Valley College where I met some of the greatest people I'll ever meet and made some more of the best friends and bandmates I'll ever have. With John DiCocco, Cory Paternoster, and Caden Myers, we formed indie rock band The Mellowells and had our first show opportunity opening for Budget Rap Icon Sammy Adams where we were booed offstage. We quickly learned who our audience wasn't. After playing our first show to 500+ people, we spent the next 3 years playing in Philadelphia basements to approximately 0-15 people at a time.
Upon graduating (technically not but close enough), I moved to Lancaster, Pa to be closer to my bandmates, where I met the incredible people that run The Kaleidoscope Studio, and got the opportunity to share my recording gear there and bring work through and spend time and bask in their atmosphere. From The Mellowells, another project started to come about and I started playing in Lancaster alt rock band Sun Not Yellow, which I play in to this day. My solo project has existed on and off since college and I've been writing for a decade now for all projects. Happy to be here, this is a good planet to live on, let's try not to ruin it.
